Description
The original dust jacket is in ‘good’ condition. It displays visible wear to both panels, chipping to the edges and a small tear to the upper left front panel. There is some toning to the rear panel and sunning to spine. It has not been price clipped and displays the original price tag of ‘18s net’ on the inner flap. The DJ is now wrapped in a clear, protective archival sleeve.
The original green hardback boards feature gold gilt titles to the spine. The exterior boards are clean with minor shelf wear to the edges.
The spine is straight and the binding is tight. Outer edges of text block are clean, with some light foxing to the fore edge.
The interior paste downs and hinges are clean. All internal pages are bright, clean and tightly bound with some intermittent light creasing. The front free endpaper displays a brown mark which does not show though to other pages. The contents page has some light pencil ticks beside each poem.
The author has flat signed and dated the book to the title page.
